The course curriculum features rich, research-based content including

- interactive sitting and walking meditation
- somatic awareness practices
- guidance for gentle yoga practice
- and the full-day retreat.
In addition to the class and retreat, take advantage of two private sessions one-on-one with one of the professional facilitators who will get to know you and your particular needs to help you get the maximum benefit from this life-changing experience.
Fee
A one-time tuition expense of just $500.00 covers everything you need for the course: practice CDs, course materials, Full Catastrophe Living, and a full-day retreat.

A Mindful Course for Professionals
Fridays September 10th-November 19th, 2010

This expanded course centers around the core mbsr curriculum and features rich, research-based content including:
- instruction in mindful practices
- interactive sitting and walking meditation
- somatic awareness practices
- neuroscience research
- guidance for gentle yoga practice
- and the full-day retreat.
What You Will Learn
- Develop your own daily discipline of meditation and relaxation through classroom instruction, formal sitting & walking & body scan meditations, gentle yoga and informal practices. Full-day immersion retreat will deepen your practices.
- The fundamentals of mindfulness practice, why it’s important to you and to your clients, and
put those fundamentals into practice immediately.
- Neuroscience research that supports developing a more mindful relationship with your own
and with client’s distress, difficult thoughts, and pain, thereby deepening your empathy and expanding your repertoire of clinical skills in treating clients with stress, pain and psychological disorders.
- How to incorporate mindfulness into your professional life via basic mindfulness and somatic practices, in ways that benefit both you and your clients.

MDs, PsyDs, PhDs, MSWs, LCPCs, RNs, NPs, OTs, massage therapists and other bodyworkers, internal & external coaches.
